the raga journal (2017)

For their 2017 annual concert, NUS IIE explores a unique musical theatre style of performance that combines songs, spoken dialogue and acting. The sold-out 30th anniversary concert follows the emotional  journey of Akaash as he navigates through different stages of his life and explores the crucial role that music had played in it throughout. 

The venture was part of the group’s efforts to build interest among youth towards Indian classical music, and make it accessible for all people to appreciate without any need for musical knowledge.
